Hello!!
I shall now present you all with life at Njc, since I’m the only one from the class who had been there. I'll post about hcjc if i have free time, since I'm biased towards nj and i like nj more.haaah. So here comes Nj:

1)If you all still don't know, Nj uniform is grey in colour with 2 buttons on the shoulders and 2 buttons on the chest for guys and only 2 buttons on the shoulders for girls. Nj is very strict with their uniform, they don't allow short skirts, the folding of sleeves and even using draw strings and their discipline mistress is really scary. So you just have to force yourself to look like a nerd? Or just take the risk, wear short skirt, fold your sleeves, then run away whenever you see the discipline mistress.

2)My first impression of it was kind of sucky because it’s a small school with a small canteen and small classrooms without air con and lousy ventilation. But after a few weeks, though it’s still a small school with a small canteen and small classrooms without air con and lousy ventilation, I grew to like it a lotttt cause the Nj spirit is really strong and it makes studying there really fun. Nj is so much more fun than hci.

3) Nothing is nice in Nj, except the people. The people are really really nice, that’s why I couldn’t bear to leave my class for hcjc after pae. Although we didn’t have a class bench, we’ll all sit around at one orange round table during our breaks, as well as after school. Then we’ll talk and mug together, and yeah talking about mugging….

4) Nj is really muggy, like what people always say. You can just mug as and when you like, without fearing that some people will find you uncool and ostracize you hahah, and I find this so cool. Where else can you find such a culture? I bet if you do that in Acjc you will have no friends at all lollll. But but but I must clarify that Nj is not so damn mug that if you put a mp3 and a stack of notes on the table, the stacks of notes will be stolen instead of the mp3, like what my friend said.

5) Nj pe kills. The pe teachers think that since we paid for our education, which includes pe, we should make full use of it and make sure we don’t waste our money. So, they try to kill us by making us run like crazy, like 1 round as warm up + 10 rounds around the track under the hot sun.

6)My maths teacher is super funnnnny!! Look at these :

mr neo : you are in nj lah, you stupid girl!

mr neo : (doing a complicated question on the board. class makes a lot of noise) quiet lah! i am trying to show off! you all must practise until you are my standard okay. you should see me do mcclaurin's series ah. fast like... i dunno, like lightning.

These are just some of the many quotes my pae classmates who are still in nj took down during math lessons. We just love this crazy math teacher cause he's full of crap.

7) There are 6 houses in Nj i think, if i remember correctly. Blue, red, yellow, green, purple and orange( they have some cool names but i forgot most of them alr. ha, I only remember my house, which is blue, is called Aqua.) It's quite cool cause we'll stand with our houses during flag raising and the house coordinators will raise a flag with the house logo when the school song is being sung.

8) Lastly Nj is also called Hci – hill crest institution. Apparently some bo liao copy cat came up with that since Nj sits on hill crest road, thus that name.
