HEY PEOPLE!

finally some Life to this blog. But we hope you will still read it yea?

Anyway, Holidays are coming! In one week's time. Someone do arrange for an outing if possible.

and we MUST GO BACK to say bye-bye to Mdm Tan!!! remember this.

Now that Xinying has brought up this Blog-About-Your-JC idea, I shall continue with V...J!

(i will TRY my best to make it as interesting as xinying's hahaha)

1. Well, V's culture is well, as all of you should know, very High and Fun. It's more angmoh as well.

2. V's uniform is beige-in-colour. Guys must wear a maroon belt. Tie day is friday and the tie is maroon as well. Actually it does go quite well with the whole uniform. Sorry no picture :P

3. There are six houses in V and they are named after constellations (apparently...). So we have, Pegasus, Draco, Ursa, Lynx, Aquilla and Phoenix (my house). And they call Sports Day "STAR WARS CHALLENGE". There are no House days (i think) like RJ but we just where our House Tees anytime after school we want. And no pic again. Srry. :P

4. And well, V's goal is to beat R and HC (lol..so sorry xinying). Coz it's like, we are the third JC afterall and those two are the top 2. So yea, whenever we beat the other two schools in some event, the school cheers louder than usual.

5. Sometimes, in certain informal events when we sing the College Anthem, some students will initiate the "YO V_ C" cheer immediately after it. (but i just...stand there and stone :D)

6. V students normally shout for "FULL DAY" (which means Full Day Off) during assemblies after several announcements of victory. And usually the principal will try to...soothe the crowd and crap up something.

7. V students go to Thai Pan MOST of the time because the Thai Pan van comes to V and bring students into the condo area where the restaurant is located. That's mostly where they eat lunch and stuff because the school canteen closes very early.

8. For me personally, I always chill out at the school comlabs with my classmates. Yea, Comlabs are open to students all the time because they May be lessons held in there. Sometimes, I might even go the one of the com labs which have Counter-Strike and Dota. So I just play CS. :P

(that's the very cool thing in V...hehehe)

9. In contrast with Raffles, V is a small school. And almost every 1-2 metres you walk, you might see someone you know. Imagine going "Hey Hi!" for don't know how many times each day. And then, absence does not make the heart fonder in anyway.

10. All classrooms in V are air-conditioned. But some are so big and 'air-y' it's hard to hear what the teacher's saying due to the big space above our heads. BUT the air-cons in V keep dying after every few months and in this half a year, all the LTs I have been to had their air-cons repaired. There was once, when I heard this Roaring and growling sound in the LT for half an hour and then the air-con died =.=

11. There is VERY poor reception in LTs and sometimes even around the school for non-Singtel users. Basically, no one has any reception in 'underground' LTs.

12. PRCs love libraries.

13. I once experienced a blackout in school. Power trip. And we had lesson in the 'dark'.

14. Ok ok, back to a GOOD thing about the school. V HAS 3 TREEHOUSES and an IGLOO! it's basically where we are allowed to play cards and stuff. It so happens that Bridge is this V culture as well. For me, in Air Rifle, you can always see people playing bridge. And in Igloo, there is an Xbox, Table soccer, Pool etc.

That's All i have for now! hahaha..can't think of anymore. ANother bad thing is that, the school's canteen is really horrible. It's stuffy and hot. :X

Aiyoooo I think I pick a lot about the school...paiseh Victorians
